  ‘Thor -The Dark World’- here comes Thor again with his banging thunder hammer to bash the evil forces, but this time its Jane Foster who have some extra role to do in this plot rather just being Thor’s lady love, its fight between Asgard and Svartalfheim(The Dark World) which gradually extend to Earth and ends up in Greenwich, but this flick provides you many hilarious and wow moments like Erik Selvig running nude around Stonehenge, Darcy’s insane act, Loki turning to be the captain america with help of his illusion etc. this time you find Loki being a good guy helping his bro, but at last you surely be confused to judge what actually he is, overall this is a fine flick that has good storyline revolving around Aether, you see Thor fighting back to save the universe but this time against Malekith, overall it’s a good making.

  Escape Plan – it’s a collaboration of two great Action hunks of hollywood Sylvester and Arnold, a escape expert Ray is sent to the confinement prison in no mans area and is challenged to find the flaw in their tight prison security system, initially its quite difficult to find a escape path but with a close contact with Rottmayer he finds the mysterious way out from that prison, you are kept in curiosity until Ray finds that the prison is a moving vessel in mid of unknown ocean, but the latter part that both the big guys go terror in against the security to make their escape ways makes much impractical, but the way that story is built is brilliant, no loss if you are a great fan of Rambo and Terminator.

  “Man of Steel” is quite a mixed product, those who like the epic type of movie may like it very much, and the krypton part and the war of aliens etc. are the thriller content of this flick, for those who like the typical Superman, who is people friendly – and always be there when you find the problems, may not seem that type of hero here, as per the title here you find an actual Man of Steel, you get to see lots of bashings, punches and the frictional fights, though you find it bit dramatized you may like the way it enters the plot, Henry Cavil had given full justice for the role of Kal-El or Man of Steel, Michael Shannon’s acting arises a partial point of view on the antagonist role General Zod, overall this movie is a high volt flick for all those Superman fans, but set your mind to move with new genre of this superhero plot because it’s quite different than Jerry Siegel’s and Joe Shuster’s Superman.  :-)

  Typical Allu Arjun is back with ‘Race Guram’, Arjun is fantastic in his acting, fabulous with his dance, awesome in action, sizzling with his style, RaceGuram is a full fledged entertainer, Brahmanandam rocks as KillBill Pandey, Shruthi has done a fine job, Prakash raj makes you laugh with his comedy shade, Ravi Kishan as an antagonist had done a neat and mind-blowing performance, Shyam has also given his magnificent performance, overall RaceGuram is an awesome powerful flick, to speak about the plot its unique- Brother –Brother conflicts & sentiments catches your mind, a must watch movie for all Stylish Star’s fans, except 2 songs S.Thaman’s music seems to be lacking some magic, Manoj’s camera works are nice, editing is neat overall technical aspect of this movie seems to be better, action sequences are stunning, Surrender Reddy’s magic can be seen right after in his Raviteja starrer ‘Kick’, “come on, its an out and out mass movie”… :-)

  Ugram- its truley a visual treat, fantastic cinematography... catchy musics and fine editing, for those who say there is no good movies in kannada here is the answer... well made Ugram crew... full thumbs up, Muruli truly portrays and perform same to that of title, good comeback, Thilak is the person to be appreciated with his mind blowing performance, Haripriya is ok with her performance... a good milestone in Sandalwood... for those directors who depend on remake movies in Sandalwood here is the inspiration u get to build an outstanding script... All the best... u guys are the future of Sandalwood... !!! :-)

  Ninnindale is truly an audience patience checker, if you go to watch this movie with expectation of Puneeth's lover boy image then it pleases you apart from this its a big disaster, Erica has done a good debut through this movie, Puneeth & Erica shares a good onscreen chemistry, no doubt music track of this movie satisfy you, there was no necessary to spend lot of rupee on shooting abroad for such a simple story line, this script would have done much better in metropolitan environment like Bengaluru itself, cinematography is superb, nice music by Mani Sharma, fine action sequences, good direction by Jayanth... but all this seems mere waste with such poor and boring script, to be frank Kannada Cinema industry possess lots of potential to provide good entertainment movie, the only thing it require is the proper dedicated crew and powerful script... We still have hope on Sandalwood :-)

  Brahma is nothing more than Upendra mania... there is no much contents filled in this movie, such type of movie are very common, first half checks your patience with meaningless boring comedy, but its only after the second half story take a path and builds curiosity among audience, songs are catchy, direction ok, casting is made excellent on the basis of script, if u go with an expectation upon R Chandru's direction then it surely disappoints u, better one time watch time pass movie... still needs much improvements :-)

  Rajahuli is a movie with full of Mandyaism, absolutely likable movie, it has good performance by Yash, Chikkanna and Meghana raj, though it is a remake movie it is made brilliantly with fine native touch that pleases Kannada audience, Yash's bindas acting make you to imitate, classy and catchy dialogues makes you to whistle up, Hamsaleka found to be quite disappointing in giving interesting track that suites present generation's heartbeat, when compared to Yash's previous Mandya style movie "Kirathaka" there seems to be lot of improvement in his performance and dialogue delivery, looking at this film we feel that kannada cinema industry has very good talents, so why remakes try swa-make movies with strong script... All the best ';-)

  "Lucia" - specially to be appreciated for creating a new trend in funding movies, great try, speaking about making of the movie- 'its truly brilliant'!, fantastic and interesting story line, brilliant star casting, movie has been superbly sculpted by Pawan Kumar, Neenasam Satish had shown his top level performance, Achuth kumar is a person to be appreciated, Shruthi was fine with her performance, you can call this movie as a new wave in Kannada Cinema Industry, such experimental brilliant movies are very much required especially when question arises about existence of Kannada movies, best psychological thriller tried in Kannada, this movie is truly capable of getting full marks with appreciation... well done :-)

  "Ulidavaru kandanthe" is completely a brilliant making, but the drawback of this movie is that it creates its own unique audience category, Rakshith won as a director, with directing this movie he had proved that he is able to direct any kind of complex scripts successfully, the top line credit of this movie goes to Cinematographer Karam Chawla for giving a wonderful visual treat to the viewers and Music Director Ajneesh Loknath who had rendered brilliant compositions and BGMs, Screenplay is an actual appreciable part of this movie, Karnataka Coastal's cultures are wonderfully portrayed in this movie... speaking about performances, director had succeeded in making the brilliant casting, Achuth Kumar is fantastic with complete Karnataka Kundapura's native touch, Rakshith Shetty is fine with his acting but improvement requires in dialogue delivery, Thara gave full justice to her role, the debutant actor Rishab Shetty is amazing with his performance, Kishore and Yajna Shetty seems to have very limited part in the movie, Child artist are truly appreciable... to conclude, overall the movie with various Suspense, thriller, Complexity, Curiosity has the potentiality to be a unique movie in Sandalwood but only if it truly reach mass audiences mind... :-)

  Movie for fans.. And if you have watched telugu movie such as Kaleja, Arundathi, and in kannada Malla... You can get a glimpse of all these movies here... But Still A good word on it is technically the movie is very good infact the sets also add marks to the movie.. Shivanna ROcks as Bhajarangi and Jeeva.. Andi can be seen in a new role.. Rest all have done justice especially the role of Krishne(Dhaiva Kanne) even thou its for 5 min, she's done her part.. Over all the movie can be watched for once without fail.....

  ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದ ನಂಗೊಂದು ಕುತೂಹಲ ಇತ್ತು , ಯಾಕೆ ಪವನ್ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಲೂಸಿಯಾ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರು ಎಂದು . ಬಹಳ ಮಂದಿ ನನ್ನ ಗೆಳೆಯರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದರು ಕೂಡ . ಆದ್ರೆ ಚಿತ್ರ ನೋಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಹೆಸರೇ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ ಎನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ .ತತ್ವಜ್ಞಾನಿ Aristotle ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು – “often when one is asleep, there is something in consciousness which declares that what then presents itself is but a dream” .ಮೇಲಿನ ಪದಗಳು ಲೂಸಿಯಾ ಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಹತ್ತಿರವೆನಿಸುತ್ತವೆ . ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಣ್ಣ ಬದುಕು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕನಸು . ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬದುಕು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕನಸು ಆಗಿರಬಹದು. ಚಿತ್ರ ಮುಗಿಯುವುದರೊಳಗೆ ನೀ ಮಾಯೆಯೊಳಗೊ ಮಾಯೆ ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೊ ಎಂಬ ಗೊಂದಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಅಸ್ಟರ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಪವನ್ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಸ್ಟ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ಲೂಸಿಯ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಭ್ರಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಜದ ನಡುವಿನ ನಡಿಗೆಯ ಕಥಾ ಹಂದರ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯೋಚನೆಗೆ ತಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.ನಾನು ಪವನ್ನನ್ನು ಮನಸಾರೆ ಯ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ . ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನ ಯೋಚನಾ ಲಹರಿಯೇ ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ . ಈತ ತನ್ನ ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ಯೋಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹುಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಇಸ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನ ಹುಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಫಲನೀಡಿವೆ ಎಂಬುದೊಂದು ಸಂತಸದ ವಿಚಾರ.ಲೂಸಿಯಾ ಒಂದು ಜನರೇ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕ, ವಿತರಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಚಿತ್ರ ಎಂಬ ಎರಡಕ್ಷರದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯನ್ನು ಬದಿಗಿಟ್ಟು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಸಹ ಚಿತ್ರ ಗೆಲ್ಲಲು ಸಾಕಸ್ಟು ಕಾರಣಗಳಿವೆ. ಚಿತ್ರಕತೆಯೇ ಇದರ ಜೀವಾಳ. ಮೊದಲಿಗೆ ಪವನ್ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವುದು ಇಲ್ಲೆ . ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತೀರಾ ಅಪರೂಪದ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯಿದೆ . ಚಿತ್ರದ ಸಂಕಲನ ಅದ್ಬುತ . ಹಾಗಂತ ಈ ತರಹದ ನಿರೂಪಣೆ ಈ ಮೊದಲು ಕನ್ನಡಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತಲ್ಲ . ಉಪೇಂದ್ರ ‘A’ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೀವು ರೋಮಾಂಚಕ ಅನುಭವ ನೀಡುವ ಕಥೆ ಇಸ್ಟಪಡುವವರಾದರೆ , ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಬಾಷಾ ಚಿತ inception, Fight Club ತರಹದ ಚಿತ್ರ ವೀಕ್ಷಕರಾದರೆ ಲೂಸಿಯಾ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಇಸ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಗುರುಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ರ ಎದ್ದೇಳು ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ನಾಣಿ ಎಂಬ ಪಾತ್ರದಿಂದ ಈ ರೀತಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ . “ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಚಿತ್ರವೆಂಬುದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಆದರೆ ಚಿತ್ರಕತೆಗಳಿರುತ್ತವೆ” . ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಒಂದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಚಿತ್ರಕತೆಯಿದ್ದರೆ ಚಿತ್ರ ಗೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ. ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಕಥೆಯ ಎಳೆಯಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ವಿಬಿನ್ನ ಅನಿಸುವ ಚಿತ್ರಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಲೂಸಿಯಾ ಇಸ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.ನೀವು ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ಕೇವಲ 51 ಲಕ್ಷ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಚಿತ್ರವೆಂದು ನಂಬಲು ಸಾದ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ . ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ದ್ರಶ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತಿಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳಾಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕ ಸಿದ್ದಾರ್ಥ್ ನುನಿ ಪ್ರಶಂಶೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಹರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ . ಇಡೀ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದು 2 ರಿದ 3 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ದೊರೆಯವ Canon 5D ಕ್ಯಾಮರದಿಂದ ಎಂದರೆ ನೀವು ನಂಬಲೇ ಬೇಕು . ಅವರು ಚಿತ್ರ ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣೆಗೆ ಬಳಸಿದ Technicolor ಮತ್ತು Magic Lantern ಎಂಬ ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶ ನಂಬಲಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರಿದೆ . LIFE OF PI ಚಿತ್ರತಂಡದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೆಲಸ ಇವನ ಕಾರ್ಯಶೈಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನ ಸ್ರಸ್ಟಿಸಿದೆ.ಸಂಗೀತದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ . ಹಾಡುಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಮಸ್ತ್ ಶಿವ . ಪೂರ್ಣ ಚಂದ್ರ ಚಿತ್ರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಮುನ್ನ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಇನ್ನೆರಡು ಚಿತ್ರ ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ . Satish Neen Aweome !( Sathish Neenasam) .ಸತೀಶ್ ನಾಟಕ ರಂಗದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ . ನಟನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎರಡು ಮಾತಿಲ್ಲ . ಶ್ರುತಿ ( Sruthi Hariharan ) ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಕನ್ನಡಕೊಬ್ಬಳು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾತನಾಡೊ ನಟಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಸಂತಸದ ವಿಷಯ. ಅಚ್ಯುತ್ ಎಂಬ ದೈತ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಪಾತ್ರ ಕಡಿಮೆಯೆನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಉಳಿದೆಲ್ಲರು ಪಾತ್ರದ ಪರಿಧಿಯೊಳಗಿರಲು ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ .ಹಾಗೆಂದು ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯೂನ್ಯತೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದಲ್ಲ. ಪೊಲೀಸರ ತನಿಖೆಯ ಪಥವನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸದೆ ತನಿಖೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊನೆಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಬಾಲಿಶ ಎನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿತೀಯಾರ್ಧದ ಮೊದಲ ಭಾಗ ಕೊಂಚ ತನ್ನ ವೇಗವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಣ್ಣ ಪುಟ್ಟ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳಿದ್ದರೂ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಬಜೆಟ್ ತೀರಾ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಮರೆತು ಬಿಡೋಣ .ಲೂಸಿಯವನ್ನು ಒಮ್ಮೆ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ನೋಡಿ . ಒಮ್ಮೆ ನೋಡಿದವರು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಥೈಸಲು ಇನ್ನೊಮ್ಮೆ ನೋಡಿ . ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿ .ಲೂಸಿಯ ಒಂದು ನೂತನ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ , ಇದು ಹೊಸ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗೆ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿಯಾಗಲಿ.
