Data and embeds.

Everything public on FilmySphere is available as read-only JSON, and any film or person can be embedded as a card. It is free to use with attribution: link to FilmySphere and say the data is from FilmySphere. Please keep to 120 requests a minute.

JSON API.

Only published records are returned, each with its page address. Responses allow requests from any website (CORS) and can be cached for five minutes.

The id is the number at the end of a page address: /movies/kantara-1234 is film 1234.

FilmySphere publishes text data only. Responses and embeds contain no posters, photos or other images.
