Pora Audio Released

Janardhan, who had earlier directed movies such as Boyfriend and Anjadiru, has changed his name to 'Amogh'. With the change in name, he is also marking his debut as hero in his directorial 'Pora'. After being shot for the past 2 years, Pora is finally under completion, the witness to which was borne by its audio release. Politicians Dr Shailendra Bellale and Devaraj Shidlaghatta have produced Pora. Ministers Shobha Karandlaje and Bharathi Shetty were there at the venue to convene the audio ceremony. The audio of Pora was released through Lahari Audio. Lahari Velu spoke on the occasion saying that the Censor Board should be consisted of members who are more sensitive towards the film industry and requested Shobha Karandlaje to look into the issue. Shobha Karandlaje asked for a written statement of their request and promised to consult the concerned authorities regarding this, after releasing the CDs.

Girish Karnad will be playing the role of a Home Minister in Pora, while producer Dr Shailendra will be playing the role of his son. Actor-director Amogh said that he intended to pass a socially relevant message through the film and sought the support of all. He also thanked for the popularity the song shot in Bidar has already gained. Music director Indrasena, who had earlier composed for Amogh's Boyfriend, will be composing music for Pora, as well as writing the lyrics. Palani Senapathi will be working on the sound design. Soujanya also spoke about her dance for an item number. The stage consisted of guests from the film and political fraternity.
